The 🏴󠁩󠁮󠁤󠁤󠁿 emote or "Flag for Daman and Diu (IN-DD)" emote is a representation of the flag of the former Indian union territory of Daman and Diu. The flag features two equal horizontal bands of blue and green, with a white crescent moon and a star centered in the blue band. The blue band represents the sea, while the green band represents the land. The crescent moon and star are symbols of Islam, which is the dominant religion in the region. Daman and Diu merged with the neighboring union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli to form the new union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu in 2020.
